April 7, 2017

We will have people to study the possibilities of Bulgarian companies to join in the preparations of the world economy exhibition in Dubai in 2020, said the minister of state administration in the Arabic country HE Reem Al Hashimi during the conversation with Mr. Stamen Yanev, executive director of InvestBulgaria Agency. The formal meeting between them has been held during the visit of the Bulgarian delegation in Dubai on the 7th annual investment meeting.

Mrs. Hashimi explained that the conversations with her team will provide the Bulgarian companies the possibility to negotiate for participation in the construction and planning of this important global economic forum. The preparation is linked to many possibilities for our business to join in the construction for building the infrastructure and other activities to conduct the exhibition.

HE Reem Al Hashimi noted that an invitation for Expo 2020 has been sent in April 2016. The deadlines for registration of Bulgarian companies, that would like to exhibit their activity, ends this year and our respond is due. The Executive director emphasized that Bulgaria has one of the lowest taxation rates for business in the EU, competitive workforce, membership in the EU and with the strategic geographical location, we offer access to one of the biggest economic markets in the world.
