The French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI France Bulgarie) celebrated its 20th anniversary. With the kind support of the Embassy of Bulgaria in France, a special event was held in Paris featuring an economic forum under the motto “Choose Bulgaria.” The forum brought together leading representatives of business, institutions, and the diplomatic community from both countries.

The forum was followed by an official reception at the Embassy of Bulgaria in France, attended by H.E. Ms. Radka Balabanova, Ambassador of Bulgaria to France; Mr. Loïc Hervé, Vice-President of the French Senate; Mr. Olivier Cadic, Senator representing French citizens living abroad; and Ms. Emmanuelle Boulestro, Head of the Economic Department at the Embassy of France in Bulgaria, along with nearly 200 representatives of major French companies, members of CCI France Bulgarie, diplomats, and figures from the French-Bulgarian business community.

The Bulgarian Investment Agency (BAI) participated in the event as a strategic partner in promoting Bulgaria’s investment potential. During the forum, Ms. Mila Nenova, Executive Director of BAI, was a keynote speaker in a panel dedicated to the opportunities Bulgaria offers to French companies in key sectors such as infrastructure, energy, high technology, and manufacturing.

In her remarks, she emphasized that Bulgaria combines a competitive tax environment, a strategic geographic location, and a highly skilled workforce, which make it especially attractive to French businesses.

The celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of CCI France Bulgarie continued the following day, June 20, with an exclusive tour of the French Senate — a symbolic conclusion to the initiative dedicated to strengthening bilateral economic cooperation.

BAI expressed its gratitude for the invitation and excellent organization and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting French investors who view Bulgaria as a stable, reliable, and promising business destination.
