On 02.11.2023, Mila Nenova, Executive Director of InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA), was invited to attend a meeting organized by the Ministry of Innovation and Growth and the US Embassy in Bulgaria regarding a visit of 15 innovative companies from the United States.
At the meeting, attendees had the opportunity to present themselves and the company they represent. Part of the sectors in which they operate are healthcare, defense, information and communication technologies, renewable energy sources, financing and insurance, bioeconomy and biotechnology, construction, pharmacy, agriculture, cybersecurity, etc.
Minister Stoychena stated that the Ministry is working to make Bulgaria a place for creating and developing innovations based on research and development and attracting investments with high added value.
U.S. Ambassador H.E. Kenneth Merten said that the Ministry of Innovation and Growth was an active participant in the Strategic Dialogue between Bulgaria and the United States in September, and that the arrival of the delegation of innovative companies was a result of the good cooperation between the two countries.
