The solemn ceremony announcing the winners of the Mr. and Mrs. Economy competition honors Bulgarian entrepreneurs, managers, economists and financiers who have contributed to the high success and development of the Bulgarian economy. The event was organized by the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (CEIBG) and “Economy” magazine and was held in Sofia Tech Park on November 14, 2023.  

Due to the high competition, the jury decided to award two prizes in some of the categories of the competition. The ceremony was opened by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KRIB Kiril Domuschiev, who congratulated the representatives of the Bulgarian business for their sustainability and development.  

The awards were in the following categories: “Mr. Economy for 2023”, “Mrs. Economy for 2023”, “Investment and Growth”, “Corporate Longevity”, “Innovation”, “Modern Industry”, “Sustainable Business” and “Digital Bank”.  

Two awards were presented in the category “Investments and Growth” – to Nikolay Andreev, CEO of Vivacom, and to Konstantin Boyadzhiev, Manager of Galaxy Investment Group. The awards were presented by Bogdanov Bogdanov, Minister of Economy and Industry. Tommy Ver Elst, General Manager of Sensata Technologies Bulgaria and Tatyana Ivanova, Member of the Management Board and Executive Director Digitalization, Data and Operations, were awarded in the Innovation category. Mila Nenova, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Investment Agency, had the honor for the awards. She thanked on behalf of the Ministry of Innovation and Growth.
