The meeting focused on expanding bilateral cooperation in manufacturing investments, infrastructure projects, and logistics services.
A delegation of organizations participating in the “Three Seas Initiative” held a working meeting with the leadership of the Invest Bulgaria Agency (IBA). The Bulgarian side was represented by the Acting Executive Director of IBA, Mr. Angel Ivanov, the Secretary General, Mr. Yuliyan Balchev, as well as a team of experts from the Agency. A representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also took part in the meeting.
During the visit, the activities of Ukrainian companies operating in the sectors of transport, logistics, port services, engineering, energy, environmental technologies, and industrial production were presented. The delegation expressed interest in future investments in Bulgaria and potential partnerships, including in infrastructure and construction projects, as well as in the creation of joint ventures.
A special focus was placed on the presentation of the company “UkrSteel Constructions,” which specializes in the design, production, and installation of metal structures for industrial, transport, and logistics facilities. The company expressed its intention to organize part of its production cycle on the territory of Bulgaria.
Mr. Ivanov presented the activities of IBA, the investment environment in the country, and the available incentives for priority projects. He emphasized that the Agency provides institutional support to investors in line with national legislation and EU regulatory requirements.
The delegation praised Bulgaria’s favorable business climate, swift coordination, and effective communication with Bulgarian institutions, confirming its readiness to participate in future initiatives aimed at strengthening economic and industrial cooperation.
