« BackInvestBulgaria Agency and the Institute of Oceanology "Fridtjof Nansen" signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

Stamen Yanev, Executive Director of InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA), and Prof. DSc. Dr. Veselin Peichev, temporary director of the Institute of Oceanology "Fridtjof Nansen", met on 03.11.2016 /Friday/ in Sofia in the building of IBA /Aksakov Str. №31 3rd floor/ in connection with the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation. The Memorandum is expected to become important mechanism for stimulating and support the business in Bulgaria through the introduction of new innovative practices and to be a basis for scientific and technological development, which will lead to improved economic situation of the country.
The Memorandum envisages active cooperation between the two organizations for attraction of investment and exchange of information between potential business partners. It is expected the organizations to provide each other information on the implementation of various activities that encourage attraction of investments and promote research as forums, exhibitions and fairs.
The two organizations stated desire to work jointly to develop a sustainable economy and to partner in the development of projects and programs related to public-private partnership.
IBA and the Institute of Oceanology "Fridtjof Nansen" commit to analyze periodically the results of cooperation in the framework of the signed agreement, to exchange information on achieved results and to develop new proposals for improving the quality of information exchange between the two organizations.
