InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA) concluded its visit to China with an intensive day of high-level meetings with leading companies and institutions in Shanghai. The second part of the visit focused on deepening economic and technological cooperation between the two countries.

Bulgaria (Shanghai) Investment and Sharing Matchmaking Conference

As part of the Bulgaria (Shanghai) Investment and Sharing Matchmaking Conference, jointly organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Shanghai and Nao Technology Co., Ltd., the IBA delegation — led by Mrs. Mila Nenova, Executive Director, and Mr. Yuliyan Balchev, Secretary General — held discussions with prominent Chinese companies.

The participating companies presented their activities and interests in sectors such as healthcare, logistics and transport, artificial intelligence, new energy technologies, and autonomous vehicles. In her presentation, Mrs. Nenova introduced Bulgaria’s investment and industrial potential, emphasizing the country’s strategic advantages as a gateway to the European Union.

Each participating company showcased its operations and outlined its global development perspectives, reinforcing the mutual interest in strengthening business and technological ties between Bulgaria and China.
