On May 19, 2025, the Vienna Economic Forum – Chișinău Meeting 2025, organized by the Vienna Economic Forum and Invest Moldova Agency, took place in Chișinău. The event was held under the patronage of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Dorin Recean, and brought together high-ranking representatives of the regional, European, and global economy under the motto: “Moldova in Focus: Continuing to Build Economic Bridges in Difficult Times.”

The Executive Director of the InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA), Ms. Mila Nenova, participated in the second session of the forum, dedicated to Moldova’s economy as part of the European and global economy. She emphasized the importance of regional cooperation and the need to build sustainable economic ties between the countries in the region. Ms. Nenova highlighted the strategic importance of Bulgaria as an investment destination and called for strengthening partnerships in areas such as infrastructure, energy sustainability, and innovation.

The forum provided a platform for discussing key topics, including the development of infrastructure projects and improving energy sustainability in the region. The participation of the IBA in the event underscores Bulgaria’s commitment to regional economic cooperation and its efforts to attract investment through joint initiatives.
