On October 3, 2024, the Bulgarian-Greek Business Forum was held in Sofia, jointly organized by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event attracted over 80 companies from Bulgaria and Greece, represented in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, food industry and medical equipment.
Mila Nenova, Executive Director of InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA), expressed her satisfaction with the great interest and supported the dialogue for expanding investment opportunities between the two countries. Within the framework of the forum, Ms. Nenova presented to the Greek companies the incentive measures that the agency provides to investors and emphasized the importance of joint initiatives to open new markets and strengthen economic ties. During the forum, B2B meetings were held, which allowed participants to discuss potential partnerships and projects.
Among the official guests were the Minister of Economy and Industry Dr. Petko Nikolov, the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov, the Ambassador of Greece to Bulgaria H.E. Alexios Marios Liberopoulos, Betty Alexandroulou, Member of the Board of the Hellenic Investment and Trade Agency and representatives from the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, who also highlighted the opportunities for growth and investment in various sectors.
The event strengthened the traditionally strong economic relations between Bulgaria and Greece and opened new horizons for the future.
