INVEST BULGARIA AGENCY TOGETHER WITH THE BULGARIAN EMBASSY IN MEXICO ORGANIZED AN INVESTMENT WEBINAR

InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA) and the Embassy of Bulgaria in Mexico jointly organized an online forum on “Business Opportunities between Bulgaria and Mexico”, which took place on 14.11.2023.  

The forum was attended by Ms. Rosario Asella Molinero, Ambassador of Mexico to Bulgaria, Ms. Milena Ivanova, Ambassador of Bulgaria to Mexico, Mila Nenova, Executive Director of IBA, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Ms. Desislava Kirova, Chief Expert – Public Relations at the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA), Dr. Maria De la Mora and Mr. José Bastidas, Director of Economic Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, and high interest was also registered, over 60 participants took part in the discussion.  

The aim of the event was to present the conditions for business and investment in Bulgaria and Mexico by promoting bilateral economic relations.  

“This event will contribute to building new bridges of opportunity between Bulgaria and Mexico,” said H.E. Molinero, adding that this is the first, but not the last, step to consolidate relations between the two countries.  

At the event, representatives from the Bulgarian side presented the business climate in the country, the incentive measures provided by the state and the opportunities for market cooperation.  

On the Mexican side, the country’s economic growth and high export positions were reported. Mexico ranks 13th in the world in terms of exports to the European Union. From the meeting it became clear that some of the strongest developed strategic sectors in Mexico are automotive, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, space and others.
