InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA) took part in the “Invest Albania” roundtable, organized by the Bulgarian-Albanian Business Chamber (BABC) in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Bulgaria. The event brought together representatives of institutions, businesses, and international organizations with the aim of strengthening economic relations and presenting new investment opportunities between Bulgaria and Albania.
The roundtable was opened by Mr. Ivan Anchev, Co-Chairman of the Bulgarian-Albanian Business Chamber, and H.E. Enkli Bufai, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to Bulgaria. Official greetings were also delivered by Mr. Miroslav Burnev from the Ministry of Economy and Industry and Mr. Martin Georgiev, Director at the Ministry of Transport.
As part of the program, Mrs. Mila Nenova presented Bulgaria’s investment climate, the country’s strategic advantages as a regional hub for manufacturing and innovation, and the priority sectors with high investment potential.
During the event, Mr. Ivan Lozanov, Business Director at CWP, shared the company’s experience in implementing large-scale renewable energy projects in Albania, while Mr. Ramiz Behbudov, Deputy Representative of UNICEF, presented perspectives on sustainable development in the region.
IBA’s participation in the “Invest Albania” roundtable is part of the Agency’s ongoing efforts to promote economic partnership and strengthen business relations between Bulgaria and Albania, as well as to present Bulgaria as a predictable and stable investment destination in Southeast Europe.
