The InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA) hosted a meeting with a government delegation organized by the Embassy of the Republic of North Macedonia. The government delegation, led by Philip Tosevski, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia, met with Ms. Mila Nenova, Executive Director of IBA and representatives of the Agency.
During its three-day visit to Bulgaria, the delegation expressed its desire to get acquainted with the activities of IBA in attracting foreign direct investment. The main purpose of the visit was to develop cooperation, exchange of experience and deepen communication.
The meeting covered topics such as the investment climate in Bulgaria, the incentive measures that the state provides to potential investors. Emphasis was placed on the attempts of the state to attract back and create conditions for the return of young talents to their homeland.
Mr. Julian Balchev, Secretary General of IBA, mentioned the excellent partnership relations and synchronization between the institutions in Bulgaria, which contributes to improving the conditions for entrepreneurship. The certification process of potential investment projects, which follows the European legal framework, was also examined in detail.
The government delegation thanked for the meeting, and also expressed their positive impressions about the growth of foreign direct investment, despite the changing political environment in recent years.
