The first edition of the economic forum “Invest in Bulgaria 2025” took place in London, organized by the British-Bulgarian Business Association in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in London, the British Embassy in Sofia, and the Invest Bulgaria Agency (IBA).

The event brought together leaders of major British companies, investors, and institutional representatives interested in developing new partnerships and exploring the opportunities Bulgaria offers as a business destination.

The forum was opened by Mrs. Mira Kostadinova, Chair of the British-Bulgarian Business Association. Welcome remarks were delivered by H.E. Tihomir Stoychev, Ambassador of Bulgaria to the United Kingdom, and Mr. Krasimir Kiryakov, Head of the Economic and Trade Section at the Embassy.

The central highlight of the program was the presentation of Mrs. Mila Nenova, Executive Director of the Invest Bulgaria Agency, titled “Bulgaria: The Hidden Gem of Eastern Europe.” In a dynamic and insightful presentation, she outlined the country’s key competitive advantages -a stable macroeconomic environment, strong sectors such as ICT, manufacturing, energy, and logistics, strategic geographic location, and opportunities for innovation development.
