For the eighteenth time, the InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA) emphasizes the importance of investments through its annual event – the “Investor of the Year” awards, which will be held on 05.03.2024. This competition is aimed at distinguishing the most influential investment projects implemented in Bulgaria in 2023. The aim of IBA is to stimulate both innovative “green” initiatives and successful business enterprises that actively contribute to the development of the economy.
The projects will be evaluated by an authoritative jury according to the following criteria:
-Investment made in 2023 in Bulgaria;
– Amount of the investment made;
-Corporate Social Responsibility – demonstrated consistent policy and initiatives in this area;
-Created product/service, with great popularity or with significant market success in the field of application in and outside Bulgaria;
-Number of newly created jobs for 2023;
-Initiation of good practices related to overcoming the shortage of staff;
-Positive image, compliance with sustainable business practices and a positive development prospect;
-Implementation of innovative practices based on the application of new technological processes.
5 awards will be given – Golden Bull statuettes, made by the sculptor Seyfetin Shekerov in the following categories:
- Investor of 2023 (complex assessment);
- Greenfield investment;
- Investment in business expansion;
- Investment in innovative business;
- Investment in human capital.
Honorary awards – plaques of IBA, will be awarded in the following categories:
- Successful startup;
- Municipality in Bulgaria with the most investments.
- Sustainable business;
- An investment with a low carbon footprint.
