On June 26, 2025, the German company Lindner Group officially announced a new investment worth BGN 100 million for the development of the Lozen Tech Park – a technology and residential project. The event, held in the area of the village of Lozen, gathered leading representatives of institutions, business, and local authorities.
A key part of this large-scale project is the Lozen Park Campus, certified with Class A by the Bulgarian Investment Agency (BAI) in 2023. The initiative is aimed at creating an innovative educational and cultural environment that combines formal and informal learning – sports, music, art, and technology – at the heart of a modern residential and business area.
Ms. Mila Nenova, Executive Director of BAI, attended the ceremony as an official guest and stated:
“For us at BAI, it is always exciting to see projects that first come to us on paper become reality. To see such an innovative project that integrates science, education, innovation, and a residential environment together is a qualitatively new approach to modern living. That is why BAI and the Ministry of Innovation and Growth certified in 2023 the educational center that forms part of Lindner’s large-scale project.”
The event was opened by Tomislav Donchev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Innovation and Growth; Vasil Terziev, Mayor of Sofia; Rosen Plevneliev (President of Bulgaria 2012–2017); Yordanka Chobanova, Head of the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria; Mila Nenova, Executive Director of BAI; Evgenia Alexieva, Mayor of Pancharevo District; Helmut Lang, CEO of the Lindner Group; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Georgi Ranchev, Managing Director of Lindner Immobilien Management and Lozen Tech Park.
Also present were representatives of the state administration and local government, including Nevena Lazarova, Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry; Georgi Angelov, Deputy Minister of Innovation and Growth; Ivan Vasilev and Nikola Lyutov, Deputy Mayors of Sofia Municipality; Bozhidar Traykov, Mayor of the village of German; and Vasil Stanchev, Mayor of the village of Lozen.
The Lozen Tech Park project is a model for sustainable development, combining high living standards, modern workspaces, an educational environment, and proximity to nature. The new investment confirms the investor’s long-term commitment to Bulgaria and demonstrates the country’s attractiveness as a destination for intelligent and sustainable projects.
