The leadership of  InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA) held a meeting with the ambassadors of eight Arab countries – Morocco, Algeria, Kuwait, Yemen, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Libya, and Iraq.
On behalf of the Agency, the discussion was attended by the Executive Director, Mrs. Mila Nenova, the Deputy Executive Director, Mr. Angel Ivanov, and representatives of the IBA team.

During the meeting, Mrs. Nenova delivered a presentation providing up-to-date information on Bulgaria’s investment climate and competitive advantages, as well as the opportunities for personalized administrative support and investor assistance offered by the Agency.

The ambassadors provided valuable feedback, sharing observations and specific examples of the challenges faced by investors and professionals from their countries when implementing projects in Bulgaria. The discussion covered key areas for potential cooperation aimed at improving the business environment — including the promotion of bilateral contacts, streamlining of procedures, and expanding access to information on potential partnerships.

The meeting took place in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, laying the foundation for active dialogue and future initiatives.
The representatives of the diplomatic missions expressed their readiness to assist in promoting Bulgaria as an attractive investment destination and in strengthening the economic ties between Bulgaria and the Arab world.
