The Minister of Economy Daniela Vezieva opened a new modern distribution center of a leading company in the field of logistics services and fast moving goods. The investment amounts to BGN 50 million, and the new logistics center is built in a strategic location and will consolidate all the company’s activities in Sofia and the Sofia region. Minister Vezieva pointed out that with this investment, new investments worth nearly BGN 150 million have been launched in the last month alone, which will create more than 500 jobs in the country.

The Minister of Economy emphasized that the investments are mainly outside the capital, and most of the projects are implemented in high-tech industries and services.

According to her, the work of the caretaker government in the direction of improving the image of the country in front of foreign investors and the clarification of the business environment are evaluated positively. “Bulgaria must get its deserved place in a good place for investments,” emphasized Vezieva.

The event was also attended by the executive director of InvestBulgaria Agency, Stamen Yanev, as well as representatives of business and foreign chambers of commerce.
