The Ministry of Innovation and Growth and the Ministry of Economy and Industry jointly organized a round table, which was attended by Ms. Mila Nenova, Executive Director of IBA, and Mr. Julian Balchev, Secretary General of the Agency. Mrs. Nenova shared what are the incentive measures to attract foreign direct investment and what is the implementation of successful investment projects. During the round table, the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals were discussed.
In line with the goals of the United Nations (UN), the Ministry of Innovation and Growth works to make innovation a driving force for increasing economic growth and unleashing human potential on the path to a sustainable lifestyle. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Innovation and Growth Veselina Mincheva at the second voluntary national review of the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The three Sustainable Development Goals that took stock of the progress made are to stimulate sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all, build sustainable infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialisation and stimulate innovation, and ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.
The round table was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry David Sukalinski, the Deputy Minister of Finance Metodi Metodiev, the Director of the Strategic Planning Directorate at the Council of Ministers Radoslav Milanov and other representatives of the stakeholders.
