Mrs. Mila Nenova and Mr. Julian Balchev met with Eng. Stoyan Markov, Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs, Sliven Municipality and Mr. Solomon Moscona, Manager of Sliven Industrial Park.
During the meeting, Mr. Solomon Moscona made a detailed presentation about the capabilities of the complex, which covers over 2.7 million square meters. The facility has a 2.5-kilometer runway that can be adapted for a cargo airport, as well as an internal railway line serving production needs. Mr. Stoyan Markov emphasized that the park is part of the EU Just Transition Program and assured investors of the availability of labor force in the region, as well as maintaining active ties with the Trakia Economic Zone.
Ms. Nenova and Mr. Balchev presented the advantages and incentive measures offered by the Bulgarian Investment Agency to both foreign and local investors. They expressed the agency’s readiness to support the development of the industrial park, while highlighting the successful examples of cooperation between IBA and other industrial parks in the country.
