SLIVEN INDUSTRIAL PARK OPENS ITS DOORS TO INVESTORS AND BUSINESS PARTNERS

Invest Bulgaria Agency (IBA) took part in the official opening of the newly established Sliven Industrial Park and in the business forum “Invest in Sliven,” held on April 24, 2026.

The event brought together representatives of institutions, local authorities, and international businesses, including members of bilateral chambers of commerce from Turkey, Greece, and Romania, highlighting the growing interest in the region as an investment destination.

Among the official guests were Ms. Yordanka Chobanova, Head of the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria; the Mayor of Sliven, Stefan Radev; Deputy Mayor Stoyan Markov; Member of the European Parliament Andrey Novakov; Atanas Temelkov from the Directorate General “European Funds for Competitiveness” at the Ministry of Innovation and Growth; Solomon Moskona, Manager of Sliven Industrial Park; and others.

The official program included an opening ceremony featuring a blessing ritual and a symbolic ribbon-cutting, followed by a tour of the newly built infrastructure. Guests had the opportunity to explore on site the conditions for industrial project development and the potential of the zone.

During the forum, Acting Executive Director of the Invest Bulgaria Agency, Angel Ivanov, presented Bulgaria’s investment advantages, the available investment promotion instruments, and the Agency’s role in supporting investors.

The program continued with B2B meetings between business representatives and institutions, creating opportunities for establishing new partnerships and developing concrete investment projects.

Sliven Industrial Park is part of the national policy to promote investments, implemented through the Recovery and Resilience Plan and the Ministry of Innovation and Growth’s program for the development of industrial zones. Under this initiative, 11 industrial parks across the country are receiving over BGN 200 million in public support for building modern infrastructure and attracting new investors.

The industrial park offers strong infrastructure, a strategic location, and favorable conditions for manufacturing and logistics activities.

Invest Bulgaria Agency supports initiatives that promote regional development and create opportunities for direct dialogue between businesses and institutions.
