The InvestBulgaria Agency is a partner of the Leader.BG Regional Business Conference – Burgas 2026, which will take place on 17 September 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Burgas Free University.
The event is organised under the patronage of Dimitar Nikolov, Mayor of Burgas Municipality, while Burgas Free University is its host and strategic partner.
The conference is part of the national Leader.BG Regional Business Conferences initiative, which brings together representatives of national and local authorities, leading Bulgarian and international companies, investors, business organisations and academia.
The event will focus on investment and economic growth, innovation and digital transformation, economic security, and opportunities for the sustainable development of Burgas and the wider region.
The conference will be opened by Dimitar Nikolov, Mayor of Burgas Municipality. Welcome addresses will be delivered by Krasimir Yakimov, Deputy Minister of Economy, Investments and Industry; Prof. Milen Baltov, PhD, Rector of Burgas Free University; Iliyana Ilieva, Executive Director of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and Bilyana Georgieva, Executive Director of Leader.BG and member of the Management Board of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The programme includes three main discussion topics:
- investment and growth;
- the digital future of business;
- economic security and sustainability in a changing global environment.
InvestBulgaria Agency is a partner of the event. The Agency’s participation is part of its continued efforts to promote investment, present the available opportunities for investor support, and establish direct dialogue with businesses across the country’s regions.
The event’s partners also include the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency, the Bulgarian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BULTISAD), the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum, the Burgas Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Industrial and Logistics Park – Burgas, and other organisations.
Representatives of companies from various sectors of the economy will take part in the conference. The official programme will be followed by a business cocktail reception in the exhibition area, providing opportunities for direct meetings, the exchange of ideas, and the establishment of new contacts and partnerships.
