On April 24, a regional business conference entitled “Economic Partnership and Business Development in the Region” was held in the Trakia Economic Zone, Maritsa District, Plovdiv, organized by Leader.BG and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hristina Yancheva. The event brought together diplomats, business leaders, and representatives of local and central government to discuss new directions for business development in the region.

Ms. Mila Nenova presented the incentives that the agency provides to support Bulgarian and foreign companies. She emphasized the importance of cooperation between institutions and businesses to achieve sustainable economic growth. “It is important to talk more often about good examples and share successful practices through which companies sustainably develop their activities in Bulgaria,” she added.

In addition to Ms. Nenova, presentations were also made by Eng. Plamen Panchev, Daniela Boycheva, Managing Director of CTP, Simeon Kozarev, Innovation Hub Manager at Schneider Electric Bulgaria, Tashkhan Chakar, Director of the Odelo Bulgaria plant, and Heather Bistrik, Commercial Attaché for Canada in Bucharest.

Deputy Minister of Innovation and Growth Krasimir Yakimov encouraged businesses to be active and take advantage of the procedures announced by the Ministry in support of Bulgarian companies. He also called for a joint effort to achieve sustainable growth.
