A new plant for signaling and fire alarm equipment was opened in Sofia. Teletek Electronics EAD works in the security sector and was founded in 1991.
The company’s investment amounts to BGN 25 million in innovative technologies and modern equipment, some of the activities in the production are managed and carried out through a developed in-house robotic system. The new factory is located in the Nadezhda district in the town of Plovdiv. It is located on an area of 11 000 sq.m. The production part is 4500 sq.m with 5 fully equipped production lines and the warehouses covers 2000 sq.m.
In 2021, the company received a Class A certificate for the investment project under the Investment Promotion Act (IPA).
President Rumen Radev had the honour to open the plant. „The sustainable development of Bulgaria goes along with ensuring security. I am proud that in this enterprise high-tech products are born precisely in the field of security, which find markets all over the world.” – he said during the opening of the plant. Hristo Etropolski – Deputy Executive Director of Invest Bulgaria Agency (IBA) was also among the invited dignitaries.
Teletek Electronics EAD is a market leader with over 650 products developed in-house in its own R&D department, which employs over 50 highly qualified engineers. The company is export oriented and operates in nearly 90 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.
